3-D ‘Spider-Man’ Reboot Gets Release Date

— by SEAN GERSKI —

In news that will actually come as a surprise to pretty much no one, the next “Spider-Man” movie will be released in 3-D.

However, the actual news here is that the movie will swing into theaters on July 3, 2012.

In the meantime, be prepared to continue to hear every young actor in Hollywood (especially ones that can still pass for teenagers) get brought up for the lead role. Especially likely to be rumored (as usual) are any male actors who appeared in “Twilight” or “High School Musical.”

Marc Webb is directing the reboot for Columbia Pictures.

well it sure will look cool having spidey in 3D. i am sure they will probably just shoot the film in 2d and convert it in post in 3d. As for the film itself i hope it turns out well and we get a good story and cast.
