very nice article cam. Personally as a kid and still today idependence day was a favorite film of mine. I continue to watch it all the time. I liked the story, the acting, and the look of the film. As for a sequel i would be very curious to see what could happen. But i agree we dont really need a sequel. But if it does happen i would surely check it out if it looks interesting.
