The Florida-based Prince of Prestige Academy, where one can earn “a professional diploma in film studies with a specialization in motion picture production,” is offering “free film school for term 1/2010″ to 25 to 30 qualified students.
The academy said it needs the students to evaluate its new 12-week online Digital Motion Picture Production (DMMP) program.
According to the academy: “The tuition for the January to March 2010 term will be absorbed by the academy. Students do not have to pay the tuition cost. However, applicant will be required to furnish their own equipment, text books and any other school supplies needed. Students that successfully complete the program will receive a prestigious diploma in Digital Motion Picture Production. Start Date: 01/01/2010. End Date: 03/31/2010.”
The deadline to enter is Jan. 1, 2010, with a “first come priority.”
Tha academy is looking for “high school graduates who are serious about filmmaking and will take this opportunity seriously.”
In addition, the academy is looking for people who are interested in becoming student evaluators. They are asked to contact the academy via email at info@princeofprestige.com or call them at 407-245-7355.

And, of course, as you should do with any offers online, if you are interested, please investigate the school and, well, do your homework. The school seems reputable, but we at It’s Just Movies have no relationship with the school and it is always better to be safe than sorry.
