Signed ‘Smallville’ Scripts Auctioned For Charity

— by KENNETH DAVIS —

A few months ago, Craig Byrnes of Kryptonsite posted links to an auction that was to help promote the Heshima Kenya charity. This auction was for the signed scripts of the “Smallville: Absolute Justice” movie that ran on The CW Feb. 5.

The movie event was made up of the “Smallville” episodes “Society” and “Legends.” Unfortunately, the original winner of the item did not come through with the money. They have been relisted and are doing well. However, these are the only versions of the script being made available to the public.

The scripts have been signed by producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson as well as many others, including Geoff Johns, Tom Welling (Clark Kent), Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan), Justin Hartley (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow), Pam Grier (Amanda Waller), Brent Stait (Kent Nelson/Dr. Fate ) and Wesley MacInnes (Cameron Mahkent/Icicle). Johns wrote the script for both episodes that made up the event.

And Welling not only acted in the movie event, he was the director of the second half, called “Legends.” Many people seem to count it as a big deal to have his name on this set of scripts.

Needless to say, this charity auction is sure to be a huge success. This is a beloved item for any fan of the show or of the people involved. Auctionsm which are being held separately for the scripts, end on Feb. 19 at 11:45 a.m. and 11:46 a.m. PST.

Great job Kenneth! I’m with Apple El, if I could only win the Lotto I may have a chance at the scripts, but oh well, not meant to be.
