Now that you’ve exhausted your circle of friends looking for someone who could translate the Russian trailer for “Salt,” here’s the English version for your enjoyment.
And despite the language barrier, we still managed to get the basic gist of things from the Russian version: Angelina Jolie is ready to kick some butt. While interrogating a Russian spy in custody of the CIA, he informs her that another spy is en route to NYC to assassinate the President. That spy’s name: Evelyn Salt. But her name is Evelyn Salt! Ruh-roh!
So Salt pulls a Palin and goes rogue, determined to prove that she’s being set up and to find out why. My biggest question after seeing the trailer? If in an attempt to disguise yourself, you go through the trouble of dyeing your blonde hair black, why not cut it, too? I know most men aren’t great at spotting when a woman changes her hair, but these are CIA agents chasing you down. So maybe give them the benefit of the doubt and trim a few inches?

Generally speaking, I’m not her biggest fan, but I think that is an absolutely gorgeous picture of her.
I also find Jolie kind of overrated, but really, what popular actor isn’t? I would never pay movie theater prices for this, but it’ll probably make for a fun Netflix rental on a lazy weekend.
^ Out of curiousity, I just looked at her IMDb page to see how many of her movies I have seen in the theater and the number is very, very small.
I also actually really enjoyed changeling also, but then again I am a huge fan of Jeffrey Donovan who also was great in that movie. Either way I don’t like Jolie enough to see this movie.
She does look really pretty here.
Wow, non-shaky-cam action and Rosa Klebb shoes? Mighty appealing. Plus, Chiwetel Ejiofor in a major role? I’m in.
Not a real fan of Angelina’s new gaunt look, though.
I liked Angelina in “Changeling”, so I’ll definitely see this.
I think this looks totally good. Not the biggest Jolie fan, but she looks like she is used well in this film. I’ll see it.
