Yesterday, I wrote about Fox Searchlight’s trailer for “Hitchcock,” starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson. Coincidentally, another production about the famous suspense director, titled “The Girl,” will premiere on HBO Oct. 20.
In “The Girl,” Toby Jones portrays Alfred Hitchcock and Sienna Miller is Tippy Hedren, the lead actress in “The Birds” whom Hitchcock allegedly harassed. The “Psycho” director was long rumored to have turned on Hedren when she refused his sexual advances (SOURCE).
Personally, I’m a bit more intrigued by “The Girl” than “Hitchcock.” Take a gander at the trailer for “The Girl” below and share your thoughts on the right.
