If you’re a fan of “How I Met Your Mother” and Ted is your favorite character (which is just ridiculous, since it’s go Barney or go home), then “Happythankyoumoreplease” may be your cup of tea. Your cup of poorly-punctuated tea…
Josh Radnor attempts to prove he’s a triple threat by writing, directing, and acting in this dramedy about a bunch of quasi-adults attempting to grow up. “Happythankyoumoreplease” tells the story of a group of cynical New Yorkers who decide it’s time to put their various personal issues aside and seek out true connections and find love. It’s an ambitious career move that reminds me of what Zach Braff, of “Scrubs” fame, attempted to do with “Garden State.” And look how his career took off after that! Oh, wait … never mind.
In this clip, Radnor attempts to explain that he won’t go listen to his new love interest sing for fear that she might suck at it. Just what every girl wants to hear.
“Happythankyoumoreplease” recently premiered at Sundance and is hoping to get picked up for a wider release.

I think it looks pretty good.
That was good. I want to see this.
Looks really good actually. Made me think of Garden State too. But to me that’s a good thing…
I’m in the same camp. I want to see it.
^Oh, I liked “Garden State,” too, but there’s no denying that it did not launch Braff’s movie career like he hoped it would.
Yes! I love it!
