Sequels and trilogies are fairly common when it comes to successful films, especially when those films are children related. Repetition may be boring for adults, but when kids like a movie, they will watch the same one over and over again, so the chance of seeing another journey from their favorite characters excites them beyond belief. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Pictures are bringing us a third escapade from our favorite animals from the Central Park Zoo.
In the short featurette “Mad Again,” we get a glimpse at the basic plot of the film and we see all the cast explaining the film and the plight of their characters. We have a few little extra scenes and we get to see that it won’t be so easy for them to join the circus because the European animals and their mistrust of them.
There is a really funny line from the leader of the circus animals, Vitaly (Bryan Cranston), referring to Alex the lion (Ben Stiller)’s shiny mane.
