RECAP
At the Daily Planet, Lois was falling asleep at her desk when Clark arrives via super-speeding, and places Chinese food on Lois’ desk. The couple discuss that they haven’t seen much of each other since Lois has been working late nights so that she can get a promotion from the Daily Planet, and Clark was patrolling the world.
Clark tells Lois that he got a letter from Martha Kent that said Conner Kent was doing fine in Washington D.C., and Martha wanted to give the couple an early wedding gift. Clark opens another envelope that reveals the deed of the Kent Farm with their names on it. Lois assumes that Martha was giving them the farm to start their lives as a married couple. But Clark ponders if Martha wanted them to sell it. Meanwhile at the farm, Clark Luthor returns from the Alternate Universe with the mirror box in hand.
Back at the Kent farm the next morning, Lois answers the knock on the door and was shock to find a real estate agent barging in and was looking around the house. A very upset Lois assumes it was Clark that called the realtor.
At the loft, Clark arrives while talking on the phone with Martha. Clark thanks Martha for the wedding gift and promises her that he will visit her and Conner in D.C. soon. Clark hangs up when he notices his belongs were on the floor and then sees the mirror box on his desk. Clark Luthor comes out of the shadows and activates the mirror box that sends Clark Kent to the Alternate Universe.
In the Alternate Universe, Clark Kent arrives at the Smallville Cemetery where there was a funeral for the passing of Alternate Universe’s Oliver Queen. His widow, Alternate Universe’s Lois Lane, was there and places flowers on Oliver’s casket when she spots Clark. While the priest was given the eulogy, AU Jonathan Kent interrupts and rants on how Oliver had destroyed the good, hard-working families from Smallville and he spits on Oliver’s casket. While watching what was going on, Clark began to get sick by AU Lois using Kryptonite. Lois tells Clark that he had a lot of nerve showing up after Clark Luthor killed AU Oliver, because Oliver expose to the world that Clark Luthor’s weakness is Kryptonite, and asks Clark Kent how it feels to be the most hated man in the world. Clark convinces AU Lois that he isn’t Clark Luthor and that he’s Clark from the other world. Lois tells Clark that everybody knows his weakness by being equipped with Kryptonite and she adds that Clark needs to quickly find a way out of this world. Clark agrees but tells Lois that he first needs to take care of something before leaving as he sees Jonathan being removed from the funeral.
Back in “original universe,” Clark Luthor was walking through the streets of Metropolis and reads a message from Lois to meet her at an apartment. Clark removes his Luthor ring before meeting up with Lois. When Clark Luthor arrives, Lois apologizes to him for acting crazy towards the real estate agent and that she found this studio apartment in the rental pages. Assuming that he was Clark Kent, Lois complain to Clark Luthor that he sold the farm without consulting with her and calls the farm her only real home. Clark Luthor played along as Clark Kent by telling Lois that everything was going to be ok because they’re together and then he asks about the whereabouts of AU Lionel Luthor. Lois tells Clark to go talk to Tess at the burn out Luthor mansion for access of the Lionel cam that Tess setup to track Lionel‘s every move. Before Clark Luthor was leaving, Lois pointed out to him that she brought his telescope to see how it looks inside the apartment. Clark Luthor aggressively throws it to the box as sirens were heard from a distance. Realizing who he really was, Lois asks Clark Luthor if he was going to deal with the emergency. When Clark Luthor left, Lois was desperately trying to get Tess on the phone before Clark Luthor finds her but to no avail.
At the Luthor mansion, Tess wasn’t answering her phone call from Lois because she was talking to the foreman on how much it will cost her to tear down and bury the mansion to the ground. Clark Luthor arrives and Tess jokingly asks Clark to finish burning down the mansion so that she can save some money. Clark Luthor disagrees with Tess that she shouldn’t bury it to the ground because a family once lived here. When Clark Luthor was rubbing his finger, Tess realizes who he really is. Clark Luthor knows that she knows and tells Tess that he wants to know where AU Lionel is so that he could kill him once and for all. Before the conversation went any further, the foreman interrupts them and Clark Luthor tells Tess before leaving that they have all the time in the world to talk.
Back at Alternate Universe, Clark Kent arrives at the Kent home and calls out for Jonathan. Clark went upstairs but Jonathan knocks him down by using a Kryptonite rock.
In “original universe,” Lois and Emil was at the Kent home trying to piece back together the mirror box that Clark Kent destroyed but Emil and Tess recovered and secretly kept the pieces. Tess calls to tell them that she will try to stall Clark Luthor until they get the mirror box working again. When she arrived at her office, Tess sees a big box placed on her desk. Tess opens the box that revealed a dress and a note from Clark Luthor to meet him at the Ace of Clubs. Then out of nowhere, Clark Luthor appears from behind. Tess tells Clark Luthor that she’s surprised that the dress is her perfect size and Clark Luthor responds back that he knows everything about her and every step that she takes. Then, Clark Luthor disappears.
At the Kent farm in Alternate Universe, Jonathan Kent has Clark Kent tied up to a chair and Clark can’t break through the ropes because he was being expose by Kryptonite. Jonathan blames Clark for ruining his life because the meteor shower destroyed the farm. When Jonathan wasn’t able to pay for the farm, AU Oliver bought it out so that he could harvest the land for meteor rocks. Jonathan tells Clark that since Queen owned the farm, Jonathan has been secretly living in the farm in search for more Gold Kryptonite so that he can buy back the farm and have his life back. Clark asks Jonathan where Martha is and Jonathan tells him that once it got bad at the farm that she left him. Clark tells Jonathan the truth that he’s not Clark Luthor and that he was from a different world where in his world Jonathan and Martha found him and raised him as their own son. Jonathan doesn’t believe him but Clark convinces him to let him go so that he can prove to him who he really is.
Back in “original universe,” Tess meets up with Clark Luthor for dinner at the Ace of Clubs. Clark Luthor tells Tess that he wants to find and kill AU Lionel Luthor so that they both can be free from the hold Lionel has over them. Clark Luthor knows Tess’ vulnerability of being abandoned and like Clark Luthor, she’s yearning to defeat Lionel Luthor. In addition, Clark Luthor claims that Tess is hiding her true feelings for Clark Kent but she knows that Clark Kent will never feel the same way. Clark Luthor offers Tess a new life with him and that this Clark wants to be with her. Then, Clark Luthor gives Tess an ultimatum of either helping him or she will die.
Back in Alternate Universe, Jonathan frees Clark Kent by sealing the Kryptonite into a lead box so that Clark can prove who he really is. They walk down the hall and Clark removes a part of the ceiling board that inside it was a shotgun. Clark tells Jonathan that the shotgun belongs to his grandfather. Jonathan asks Clark how did he know that the shotgun was there and Clark responds that he liked to keep it close when Coyotes came onto the fields. Clark tells Jonathan that all of the lessons his father has taught him and how he is the man he is today was because of his guidance. From a distance, police sirens were heard and approaching the farm that Jonathan called them earlier. Jonathan tells Clark that he needs to leave but Clark won’t leave without him. Then Clark tells Jonathan to fix his life by getting Martha back. Jonathan thanks Clark, wishes him luck and calls him “son“. They were about to hug when Clark was being pulled back to Reality World at the Kent home where Lois and Emil were there. Clark asks Lois where’s Clark Luthor.
At LuthorCorp, Tess shows Clark Luthor that she planted a tracking device on AU Lionel and they can track him down by using the GPS. While Clark Luthor superspeeds to where the system has Lionel’s location, Tess quickly re-routes the GPS to somewhere else. Seconds later Clark Luthor returns and tells Tess that it’s done and they can now live their new life together. Tess was shocked at first but Clark Luthor reveals that he knows that Tess has re-routed the GPS. Clark Luthor grabs Tess’ neck, pushes her to the window that shatters and he’s dangling her outside the window. Tess begs Clark Luthor to give her another chance because she didn’t want Lionel to die because he’s still her father. Tess admitted that she really does have feelings for Clark and wants to start a new life with him. However, Clark Luthor doesn’t trust her anymore and was about to release her from his grip when Clark Kent arrives and saves her.
Clark Kent and Clark Luthor have a showdown that led them to the Fortress of Solitude. Clark Kent tells Clark Luthor that their biological father is there and has given them all the knowledge of the universe. Clark Luthor responds back that this was all a music box but without any music. Clark Kent reassures Clark Luthor that AU Lionel has lied to him and that he can still talk to his biological father and have redemption for the action he has done back at Earth 2 (Alternate Universe). Clark Kent adds that he could make a difference from Clark Luthor’s world and calls out Jor-El where Jor-El sends Clark Luthor back to his world and the Alternate Universe‘s Fortress of Solitude. Clark Luthor calls out for his father and Jor-El welcomes his son.
In Metropolis, Tess and Emil were discussing about the Gold Kryptonite and its ability to permanently take away Clark’s powers. Tess tells Emil that she will get her team on it. Before leaving, Emil asks Tess about her dinner date with Clark Luthor. Emil said that he was reviewing the footage of the two of them and felt that Tess was tempted on taking Clark Luthor’s offer. Tess tells Emil that he doesn’t know the kind of person she really is. Emil responded back that he does know the real Tess even if she doesn’t believe it in herself just yet.
At the Kent Farm, Clark was outside and Lois comes out to see Clark wearing Jonathan’s jacket. Lois asks Clark if something happened to him while he was at the other universe that has him shook up. While not telling Lois that he met his father from the other world, Clark tells her that he was just trying to get back home. Clark reveals to Lois that he wasn’t the one that called the real estate agent. Lois figures that the realtor must’ve seen the “for sale” sign. Clark tells Lois that he was trying to keep the things that have protected him like the Kent farm. Clark knows that they should move to Metropolis but he felt the Kent home was a place that has kept him grounded when he wasn’t saving the world. Yet Lois reassures Clark that she wouldn’t allow that to happen and that Clark is her “Smallville.“ Clark tells Lois that he will call the real estate agency in the morning.
Back at Alternate Universe, Jonathan Kent arrives at an apartment building in Metropolis. After some hesitation, Jonathan rings the buzzer of Martha Kent’s apartment. [END OF EPISODE]
