Transformers … more the meets the eye…
They’re back — and after a less-than-stellar sequel, this third installment promises to go back to the original’s roots, albeit with a brand new leading lady.
This latest trailer is longer than the initial tease we first saw of just the moon and some wreckage. We see that the government may have known of the existence of the Autobots and Decepticons for far longer then we originally thought, when a Cybertronian spacecraft is discovered hidden on the Moon. And, as Optimus Prime utters the words, “You’ve lied to us and you’ve made a grave mistake,” the latest installment is already amp-ing up not just the action but the drama as well.
Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson are back to protect the world and fight beside the Autobots against the Decepticons as they race to reach the spacecraft and discover its secrets first. A new love interest for LaBeouf’s character, Sam Witwicky, is introduced in the form of Victoria Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who is playing Carly, a well-known character in the transformers world.
The sky lights up as the action begins and the thrill ride we’ve been waiting for takes off this summer.
