With just over two weeks until everyone’s favourite soldiers of fortune are reborn on the big screen, a new expanded clip of the already infamous Tank Vs. Drone scene has been released. The clip shows the unmanned aircrafts destroying the Hercules cargo plane with the A-Team inside.
However, Faceman (Bradley Cooper), B.A. Baracus (Quinton Jackson) and Murdock (Sharlto Copley) have stashed themselves inside a tank onboard the plane before it explodes (Liam Neeson’s Hannibal Smith doesn’t seem to be in the scene.). In a sight that is pure win, the tank can be seen falling from the explosion carried by parachutes safely out of harm’s way. That is until the drones circle back around and target the tank. Cue Faceman popping his head out of the tank whilst falling through the cloud layer to man the giant gun on top, all the while B.A. rocking back and forth inside the tank after realising where he is.
The film is shaping up to be the action flick of the summer. My only concern is its timing. Whilst “The A-Team” is loved the world over, there is one thing that is loved even more the world over – football. The World Cup kicks off June 11. When does “The A-Team” get released? June 11. Not a good idea, guys. I really hope that the events in South Africa over the coming month doesn’t ruin the chances of what appears to be a great film from scoring a goal at the box office.
