It's Just Movies

SFX has released new images featuring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter and also Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull … or as Johann Schmidt before that scary face turns even creepier.

Before I go on, is it just me or is that the Cap costume under that military jacket? I really need a new picture of him featured with the entire suit. Since this is my first article on Captain America, I must start by saying that I like the looks of Chris Evans, he just looks so right for this role and I’m really looking forward to see him in action.

It’s hard for me to tell my thoughts on her Hayley Atwell without having seen her in action, but so far she looks great in the role.

Now, there is the face of one scary guy! Seriously, I have never seen such a scary villain, and this is just before he turns red. I remember back in “Spider-Man: The Animated Series” in the ’90s that I always tried to imagine how he looked without the red … well, now I have seen it and it’s creepy enough without him even becoming the Red Skull. The thing he is holding in his hands is the Cosmic Cube.

Now, that we have seen Weaving before he turns into Red Skull, it’s time to move on to these pictures. This is apparently the concept art of how Red Skull will look in the movie. It’s not 100 percent confirmed that this is the official art for Red Skull, but it seems likely that this is how he will actually look in the movie.

As an aside, I found a picture at how Red Skull looked like in the 1990s Captain America, with Scott Paulin as the Red Skull:

Well, I hope that this Red Skull will turn out better than the ’90s Red Skull did. I’m positive that the concept art really is a leaked picture of how he will look. If not, then I don’t think they have done something new with the character, it will probably look the same, maybe different outfits or something like that, but otherwise, not much.
