Spoofs aren’t really my type of movies. I have a distaste for the cliche, but “Tucker and Dale vs Evil” has a self deprecating campy-ness about it.
Tucker and Dale are two rednecks who live in the woods. Some college kids go camping in the woods and believe Tucker and Dale are something out of a horror movie. One of the girls, Allison, gets hurt and Tucker and Dale take her to their house. The other college kids think Tucker and Dale have stolen her. In their mission to rescue Allison, they end up dying horribly in ways that are only seen in horror films. Tucker and Dale keep trying to tell the college kids that they have Allison safe, but they are misinterpreted and cannot understand why the kids keep killing themselves.
Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine play Tucker and Dale. I haven’t seen much of Labine’s work, but since I’m a huge Joss Whedon fan, I’m glad to see Alan Tudyk in the film. “Tucker and Dale vs Evil” is written and directed by Eli Craig.
Below are five clips from the film most of which center on the misunderstandings between Tucker and Dale and the college kids.

First I’ve heard of this. Thanks.
Pretty funny.
This looks pretty good!
I first discovered Tyler Labine in “Reaper” and have been a fan ever since. I was bummed when that show was canceled, but I’m really looking forward to “Sons of Tucson.” The guy’s just plain funny and I’m sure he’ll be great in “Tucker & Dale” too.
I’ve read the user-reviews that rated it C, D or F and concluded that they had been really young or not smart adequate to stick to the storyline to acquire any satisfaction. These are perhaps the same viewers that gave the Eclipse series shows high ratings.
