It’s hard not to feel completely underwhelmed by the movies that have arrived in theaters this summer. The past few summers offered quite a few hits that should stand the test of time, but this summer has been awash in mediocrity.
One movie that has people hopeful for a resurgence is “Knight and Day,” a comedy adventure that has Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in full-on movie star mode. The trailers have made the movie look like a heck of a lot of fun and have been well received by audiences in theaters.
Below, we have a couple of clips from the movie, including one that shows Cruise and Diaz on the beach in swimwear — just the thing to liven up the summer.
Directed by James Mangold, “Knight and Day” will look to rescue the box office starting June 23, with special sneak previews slated to take place in select theaters tomorrow night.
