Not too long ago, “The Avengers” movie felt so many years away … but now it is approaching quickly. When I would read articles about the individual movies for the separate heroes to be released one by one before “The Avengers,” it just seemed like we would have to wait forever.
I can’t help it, I am impatient. But now, we have already enjoyed two “Iron Man” movies, two “Hulk” movies, we have seen the amazing five-minute-long Comic-Con trailer for “Thor,” and finally we are getting glimpses of “Captain America.”
Although it is obvious the man in the pictures is Chris Evans’ stuntmen in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” the pictures give us our first glance at the actual Captain America suit that will be used in the anticipated movie.
At first, there had been a lot of debate amongst the comic-book followers about the actual suit seen in various preliminary photos publicly released. Some were upset because of various changes in the suit from the comics, also it was leather.
Later, a new picture was released where it showed an artist interpretation of Captain America in action wearing the new suit. The fans where blown away — the suit looked great. Now we get to see an actual photograph of the suit, and more.
The pictures (which originated at The Daily Mail — where there are more pics to be found) appear to be for a chase scene in the movie. It shows a couple of soldiers (though they have unique uniforms) riding on their futuristic for the ’50s looking motorcycles. They also show Captain America’s motorcycle and uniform. The stuntman is rather large and does not have Chris Evans’ build in any way, shape or form, but I am sure it won’t be noticeable in a fast chase scene. The suit looks bulky at times as well, but, like I mentioned, this is just the stunt double and the camera will not be focusing on him in detail. One other item fans were anxiously waiting to see photos of was the Captain America shield. In this picture, we finally get to see it in its full splendor. The shield looks fantastic; perhaps it is my favorite of all the other items discussed.
I am very excited for this movie and I am sure we are in for an exciting treat, just look at the cast of the movie:Samuel L. Jackson, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, and there are even rumors of Bruce Willis and Nicolas Cage appearing in the movie.
Well, if you are as excited as I am, you will be looking for any bit of info that you can get your hands on before the movie. Check back at It’s Just Movies regularly, because we will be following all the latest news about the film.

Like you said, besides obviously not being Chris Evans, we get a glimpse at what the suit will look like, ect. I am also very excited for this movie and really hope that its unique and different then all of the other comic books!
The suit looks amazing, I wonder how it will look on Chris Evans. For me this will be the introduction of Captain America (haven’t read the comics, just seen him in a few Spider-Man comics) so this will be even more exciting for me!
