Short Film: Last Minute (A 9/11 Film)

— by JOSUE SANCHEZ —

September 11, 2001, is a date the whole world will never forget. So many lives were abruptly lost on that day and the sorrow is still felt today, 11 years later. Some died unexpectedly, others placed themselves in harm’s way attempting to help others. Many heroes were lost on that day and will always be remembered. They must be remembered.

As the smoke of that tragedy cleared, many stories surfaced — stories of survival, stories of loss. Some stories we will never know, and sadly will go forever unspoken.

It is our responsibility to commemorate the souls whose light were extinguished on that gloomy day. There are many ways of grieving or commemorating these beloved heroes. Majic Pictures has created a short film that is sure to remind us all about the core of the tragedy of 9/11.

“Last Minute,” directed by Jared Pelletier, is a 9/11 short film that contains a powerful message. There are few words to describe the tragedy of the plot or subject matter of the film, but all those that remember 9/11 will immediately understand.

The movie features Anthony Ingruber as one of the undeserving victims of 9/11. His performance is heartfelt and real, and truly honors the memory of those who suffered such a violent, unfair and catastrophic conclusion to their lives.

Join us on this day of memory and mourning, we invite you to see the unfinished film below titled “Last Minute.” Marvels like this film will help us to never forget.

Wow, that little minute and a half totally brought back the flood of emotions that I felt that day 9 years ago as I sat in front of my television in shock.

Thank you Josue for posting this short film. I agree with you that we must remember those who lost their lives that day…even today, I still can’t believe that it happened, it feels so unreal.

Thank you once again for posting this!
