The winners of the Producers Guild Awards were announced this past weekend and there were no big surprises save one: “The King’s Speech” won the prize as best picture over Golden Globe-winner “The Social Network.” What this means come Oscar time remains to be seen, but it does create more intrigue than originally anticipated.
