I have to admit that when I saw this title, I thought that it was a Dudley Do-right movie at first. When I viewed the trailer, I see that it is very far from that. In fact, it’s an action-packed adventure in the Canadian wilds.
A lone Mountie (played by Andrew Walker) has come to clean up crime and corruption after finding an innocent man dead. As he establishes his home, he learns that there are a number of illegal activities going on behind closed doors. As he uncovers the men behind the crimes, he sets out to take them all down, one by one, in a fight like that town has never seen before.
“The Mountie” — which also stars Jessica Pare, George Buza and Earl Pastko — opens in theatres on Canada Day, July 1.
