Review: Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths

— by KENNETH DAVIS —

With several successful movies under their belts, DC comics and Warner Bros. bring us yet another excellent film with “Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths,” co-directed by Sam Liu (of “Superman/Batman: Public Enemies”) and Lauren Montgomery (of “Green Lantern: First Flight”).

Although it isn’t perfect, “Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths” definitely surpassed my expectations. With this film, they brought a quality product to the table in terms of animation and actors — as well as many of our favorite super heroes. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Martian Manhunter were only some of the main characters of the film. Others — also known very well by fans of the DC universe — included Aquaman, Black Canary, Red Tornado and more.

One good thing was the film makers did was to use actors to do the voices that weren’t really well known for doing the roles. However, they brought a lot to the characters, especially Superman (Mark Harmon), Batman (William Baldwin) and The Flash (Josh Keaton). Not only were the actors and heroes great, but so was all of the action. Yes … there was plenty of action.

One of the movie’s few clunkers was a poorly-used parody of Harrison Ford’s famous line in “Air Force One”: “Get off my plane.”

All in all, though, I would recommend this film to anybody who is a fan of DC comics or just one of the super heroes I have listed. It is definitely worth either buying or renting.

Yea it was a pretty solid movie. A little weak in some areas. But i thought the visuals were great, the story was pretty straight forward and i enjoyed most of the voice actors.
