The sex farce “Made for Each Other” has flown under the radar, and maybe for good reason. While the footage released of the low-budget comedy may contain a laugh or two, it certainly doesn’t look like the next “40-Year-Old Virgin.”
Dan (Christopher Masterson) thought Marcy (Bijou Phillips) would be perfect girl for him. But after nearly three months as husband and wife, they still haven’t consummated their marriage. Sexually frustrated, Dan sleeps with his demanding boss. But after their tryst he is immediately guilt-ridden and doesn’t know how to break the news to Marcy.
His solution? Convince a popular actor (Patrick Warburton) to seduce Marcy, so when Dan confesses his infidelity, Marcy will forgive him since she too will have cheated. But of course, nothing goes according to plan.
Also starring Danny Masterson, “Made for Each Other” is now playing in limited release.
In the clips below, Dan fantasizes about the sex life he wishes he and Marcy had and debates with his friend Mike (Samm Levine) about whether it’s acceptable to have Chinese food two days in a row.
