Looking back — and with the year getting close to coming to an end — the most fun I had in a theater this year was for J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek.”
I saw it twice in the theater and the first time was a much better experience. For me, meeting the characters again for the first time (if you know what I mean) was the most fun part of the film.
However, I still plan to purchase the movie on blu-ray when it is released on Nov. 17 (it will debut on DVD that same day).

This blu-ray is a must-buy for me as well.
Ugh, the first one was taken off by Paramount. The second looked exciting, though I thought the movies pace was fine the way it was released.
