A Fan-Made Teaser Trailer for ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’

— by ADAM POYNTER —

It’s the end of an era as the final Harry Potter film is heading into theaters worldwide July 15 in 3D and also IMAX. In last year’s teaser trailer, which combined shots from “The Deathly Hallows: Part 1” and “Part 2,” we were able to see loads of shots from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” but this new fan-made teaser trailer focuses on the final film.

At the conclusion of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” we see Harry, Ron and Hermione on the run, having destroyed a horcrux and in the process learning about the old fable of the deathly hallows. Learning that they might be real, they could represent a significant risk to the group if Lord Voldermort were to get his hands on them.

In the final scene, Voldermort arrives at the burial site of Albus Dumbledore and takes the elder wand from his grave, signifying a massive surge of new power.

Watch this new fan-made teaser trailer that focuses on the finale of the franchise while we wait for the real thing from Warner Bros.

So are you ready for the franchise to end? Some have even grown up with the characters on this decade-long journey, which is sure to make it an even bigger box office success.

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes, Bonnie Wright and Michael Gambon.

So did this teaser get you excited for the final film and are you planning on seeing it opening weekend, in 3D or IMAX? Leave a comment and let us know.
