It's Just Movies

With “New Moon” now out on DVD, it’s time to fully turn our attention to the next movie in the series, “Eclipse.”

To get ready, the first clip from the movie is below.

“Eclipse” picks up immediately where “New Moon” left off. Bella (Kristen Stewart) is faced with several conundrums: Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) still wants Bella dead since Edward (Robert Pattinson) killed her mate, if Edward doesn’t turn Bella into a vampire the Volturi will kill her and if he does turn her, the treaty between the Cullens and the werewolves is off, meaning the Cullens will be fair game for the wolves to hunt.

Bella is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner), but the vampires and werewolves may have to reluctantly band together when Victoria resurfaces with a thirst for Bella’s blood. And with graduation quickly approaching, the idea of Edward changing Bella into a vampire inches closer to becoming a reality.

“Eclipse” — which stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Bryce Dallas Howard — opens June 30.
