It’s pretty easy to be a superhero. You’ve got some supernatural power (for the most part), people are cheering you on (for the most part), and there is always a girl worth fighting for. What we don’t think about, though, is what it’s like to be the villain.
“Megamind” looks like the antithesis of “The Incredibles.” Instead of being about a ragtag bunch of superheros it’s about a ragtag bunch of supervillains. Instead of being a Disney Pixar film, “Megamind” is a Dreamworks Animation film.
The teaser trailer below is a short one. It’s mainly Will Ferrell is talking about how awesome his evil character is. There is also a funny, but expected, bit where the stereo starts playing “Loving You.”
Overall, the teaser is too short to make me say whether I want to see it or not. On the other hand, the stars look promising and I enjoy most of Ferrell’s movies. I’ll reserve my judgement, however, until a full length trailer arrives.
“Megamind” will be in theatres Nov. 5 and stars Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt.

You don’t sound too enthusiastic. I don’t know why but I’m just not a huge fan of animation, never have been although I did love Wall.E.
