It seems Arnold Schwarzenegger might move ahead with a movie project, despite all the bad media he has been bombarded with lately. Personally, I thought he would wait longer to return, but we are hearing he is ready for his movie comeback.
No sooner had Schwarzenegger finished his term as Governor of California than the rumors of his return to acting started pouring in. One movie project after another kept piping up. His fans wondered what would be his first role after so many years.
Suddenly, things took a turn for the worse for my childhood hero when news of his infidelity hit the media. It was reported Arnold put his acting plans on hold, and even temporarily left the country.
Now, The Wrap is reporting he will be in fact starring in a movie called “Last Stand.” I personally find this to be a good name, for it sounds like a return to his best genre, action movies. But what do they say the movie is about?
The Wrap reports: “Schwarzenegger has struck a deal to star in ‘Last Stand,’ playing an aging sheriff seeking to protect his border town from a drug kingpin … The character must decide whether to risk his own life to protect his town from the drug cartel.”
Well, there you have it, he is returning to action movies, and although I don’t condone what he did, if he wants to do movies, then they should be what he is most enjoyable in.
What do you think? No official release date or extra information available at this time, but stay tuned and we will keep you posted.
