Last January, Pierre Morel and Liam Nelson treated movie-lovers to an undeniably fun, but hilariously mindless affair with “Taken,” but Pierre plans to follow-up to his success with “From Paris With Love.”
In Liam’s place is John Travolta, who has been on a downward spiral since his performance in “Pulp Fiction.” Other cast members include Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Kasia Smutniak, Melissa Mars and Amber Rose Revah.
“From Paris With Love” follows Meyers as a conventional FBI who meets his polar-opposite, Charlie Wax (Travolta), in Paris. They team up in order to stop a terrorist plot.
“From Paris With Love” has the potiental to be a fun time at the movies, but it also has the potiental to be terrible. Here’s hoping that Travolta replenishes his credentials as an actor.
“From Paris With Love” is slated for release in theaters everywhere on Feb. 5.

I think I will probably miss this one.
“Taken” was sorta fun – minus the cruddy action editing – so I’m sort of interested in this one. Travolta, when he’s giving his A-game, can be really fun in the genre.
