When I first heard the news that Brandon (Superman) Routh was joining the cast of “Chuck” for a multi-episode arc, I was very excited.
I had just recently viewed the mockumentary “Stuntmen,” in which Routh shared a hilarious scene with Zachary Levi, who plays the lead character on “Chuck.” The two handsome actors played competing characters and the scene they shared left me wanting more.
I couldn’t be happier that more shared screen time is coming and that the two actors no doubt will once again be comical rivals of a sort. They are both tall, dark and handsome and I can only imagine what the writers of “Chuck” have in mind for the story arc that makes Routh’s character a the new spy in charge of Operation Bartowski.
Should the fans of Chuck and Sarah be concerned that there is a new man in town? I don’t think so. The show depends on keeping the tension going. Just think of all the tension that will be created by “Superman” coming to town.
I already have been meaning to check out “Chuck,” and this only serves to cement the deal.
Awesome! Routh is great and I love Chuck.
I’m already a big fan of this show. Adding Routh solidifies this, to me, as a can’t-miss.
I can’t wait to watch this show! I need to rent it! Thanks for the info!
Good for Brandon, great for “Chuck.”
Soo excited about this!! Love both Zac and Brandon. It sucks we have wait until March 2010 for season 3 of Chuck to star, though. 🙁
