It's Just Movies

Obviously, this doesn’t really (other than the names) resemble the kind of “Sherlock Holmes” with which most of us are familiar, but the question is: Is that a bad thing?

I say it isn’t. This is a completely new take — and, hopefully, a fun one.

I like the cast, which is top-lined by Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams and Mark Strong. Plus, outside of “Swept Away” (which I never saw), I always have a good time at Guy Ritchie movies and I’m not expecting this one to be any different.

If you are on the fence about whether to see it, hopefully these clips will do the trick one way or the other. There are a lot of excellent options in the theaters this month, but “Sherlock Holmes” might just be the most fun one.
