And the Oscar goes to … Meryl Streep!

Today, Pathe UK released the first photo of Meryl Streep as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Talk about a transformation. Streep should win the Best Actress Oscar just for look and presence alone. The biopic, titled “The Iron Lady,” started filming two weeks ago in London and will detail the Prime Minister’s days in power leading up to the Falklands War in 1982. There’s no word on a release date.

What’s the verdict? Yea or nay?
