Generally speaking, if you put enough actors I like in a movie, I will see it … at some point. If a movie stars Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Winona Ryder, Jennifer Connolly and Queen Latifah — and is directed by Ron Howard — then I am going to see it.
Having established that, the question of when I will see it arrives. This is where the trailers, clips, TV commercials and reviews come into play. And after seeing the promtional materials for “The Dilemma,” I’m sad to say (in the words of Elton John) that I think it’s going to be a long, long time.
In the cases of Vaughn and James primarily, each actor is capable of top-notch work and each is capable of pretty terrible work. Under the direction of Howard, one might reasonably expect the better end. But it doesn’t look like that’s what we are going to get.
I hope I’m proven incorrect and the movie is highly entertaining. But I’m guessing it’s going to be a while before I find out.

Can I just say that I was really impressed with Channing Tatum! He did a fantastic job. Jennifer Connelly is A1 Actor and wasted in this film. Winona Ryder was also worth a mention. The end.
