New Footage from ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’

The end, unfortunately, is nigh. Last year, I wrote a column summarizing my thoughts on the Harry Potter franchise. In general, I believe Warner Bros. has done an excellent job staying true to the books and on July 15, the epic saga will come to an emotional close.

Last night, as part of its weekend long Harry Potter marathon, ABC Family debuted new and amazing footage from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.” In it you will see the following:

    • Ron crying over the body of his beloved brother Fred.

    • Harry standing near Dobby’s headstone.

    • More Gringotts

    • A Snape flashback

    • Ginny reacting to Harry’s Death

In November, I couldn’t wait to watch “Deathly Hallows: Part 2.” But now that the date is around the corner; I’m just not ready for this series to end. But, eventually, all good things have to end.

I know one thing for sure; I don’t dare go to the theater without a handful of Kleenex at the ready.

What are your thoughts about the footage. Does it make you anxious? Comments to the right!
