We have seen Henry Cavill’s Superman suit. We have also seen Michael Shannon’s outfit for General Zod, as well as Antje Traue’s look for Faora. This time, it’s Russell Crowe’s turn to show off his outfit as the Kryptonian scientist and father of Superman, Jor-El – thanks to some sneaky photographers.
Now, this is probably the most interesting outfit that I’ve seen so far from “Man of Steel.” Shannon’s outfit as Zod was an update of the suit from “Superman II,” but I never expected that Jor-El would get such a big makeover in his outfit. However, it sure looks like something Kryptonians might wear – but definitely more modern. It’s a bit similar to what he was wearing in “Superman: Earth One.”
I have been quite impressed with every costume they have done so far in “Man of Steel” and I wonder if Lara (who will be played by Ayelet Zorer) will have a big change in her outfit as well. Overall, I’m impressed and the next Kryptonian-related thing I would like to see is actually Krypton itself, but that should be saved for a trailer instead.
“Man of Steel” flies into theaters on June 14, 2013. In the meantime, let me know what you think of Crowe’s look as Jor-El. Hit with your comments to the right.
