The couple in the poster is Meryl and Paul Morgan (Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant). The comedy “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” follows the exceedingly successful couple whose almost-perfect lives have only one notable failure — their dissolving marriage.
The chaos of their romantic lives is nothing compared to what they are about to experience as they witness a murder and become targets of a contract killer. The FBI places them into witness protection and takes the Morgans from their beloved New York to a tiny town in Wyoming.
As their relationship was on the rocks, it threatens to end in a place that is unlike anywhere they’ve been, unless the Morgans can slow down the pace and rekindle the passion.
For me, I never really found Hugh Grant that funny. Hopefully, he can prove me wrong in this all-too-familiar story.
The film also stars Sam Elliott, Mary Steenburgen and Elisabeth Moss, and is written and directed by Marc Lawrence.
“Did You Hear About the Morgans?” will bring a change of scenery into theaters on Dec. 18.
