From the first moment I read the cast list for “Couples Retreat,” I knew I would be seeing it in the theater.
There are a lot of people I really like in this cast, including Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Faizon Love, Jason Bateman, Kristin Davis, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell and Jean Reno.
Basically, it seems like good company to keep for an hour and 47 minutes.
The plot is as follows: Four couples settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation, but while one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort’s therapy sessions is not optional.
The movie finally arrives in theaters Oct. 9, but in the meantime, we have seven clips from the movie for you.

What a great cast!
This movie looks like a lot of fun.
I don’t know. Maybe we have already seen all the funny parts. It just seems like one suggestive stunt after another to me. I might rent it when it comes out on DVD but I don’t think I will pay the price to see it in a theater.
I ended up not seeing the movie, so these will have to tide me over.
