Simon Pegg and Nick Frost share a kind of onscreen chemistry that is always delightfully funny and genuinely real.
To help promote their latest project, “Paul,” the two friends created a short remake of one of the scenes from “Star Wars: A New Hope” on Tatooine. The result is a charming reinterpretation that draws on Pegg and Frost’s own friendship. Their back-and-forth bickering, home-made C-3PO and R2-D2 costumes, and clever insights into the psyches of the two droids, is exactly what we’ve come to expect (and love) from the stars of “Spaced,” “Shaun of the Dead,” and “Hot Fuzz.”
