Tom Hanks Discusses ‘Beyond All Boundaries’

— by VANNA LAND —

For all of the war movie enthusiasts, here is something you will really like.

A new 4-D cinematic experience awaits you with the opening of The National World War II Museum in New Orleans on Nov. 6, 2009. (The fourth dimension comes into play with the movement of your seat.)

Tom Hanks narrates and serves as executive producer of the film, which chronicles the second World War.

The movie will be shown “every hour,” as Tom Hanks states in the video at the newly-constructed “one of a kind” Solomon Victory Theater on a “mammoth panoramic screen.”

The movie will feature many of Hollywood’s biggest names, such as Kevin Bacon, James Cromwell, John Goodman, Neil Patrick Harris, Kevin Jonas (yes, one of the Jonas brothers), Justin Long, Tobey Maguire, Chris Pine, Brad Pitt and Gary Sinise to name a few. They voice the soldiers fighting in service to our country along with the journalists –- in their own words –- who bravely covered the war.

As a teaser here are two videos. The first shows Tom Hanks discussing the importance of “Beyond All Boundaries.” The second video includes some actual scenes from the film.

That sounds amazing. I’ve never been to the museum, but I really want to go now!

The Newseum in Washington, D.C. has a 4-D theater and it was pretty cool. I bet this is a heck of a show.

That makes me want to plan a trip there. I have always wanted to see New Orleans, this gives me another reason.
