Just in time for Halloween, we have the creepy new teaser and poster for “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
Fans of the original series will notice some familiar beats in this reboot, which features Jackie Earle Haley donning the famous red and dark green sweater of Freddy Krueger. The movie is said to be a quasi-remake of the original 1984 movie, with deaths from its sequels incorporated into this one.
“A Nightmare on Elm Street” is due in theaters April 30, 2010. And, one would guess, it should make its arrival on DVD and blu-ray before Halloween 2010.
Directed by Samuel Bayer and written by Welsey Strick and Eric Heisserer, the movie also stars Connie Britton, Clancy Brown, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Rooney Mara as “Nancy.”
