“Sex and the City” may have signed off of HBO five years ago, but in May fans will get the chance to laugh with Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) once again.
Details are being kept very hush-hush about “Sex and the City 2,” the sequel to the 2008 big screen follow-up to the TV series. All four leading ladies and their respective significant others will be back, as well as other regulars from the show like Stanford (Willie Garson) and Anthony (Mario Cantone).
The new trailer also shows footage of the girls taking some sort of exotic vacation. Other than that, the trailer mostly focuses on shots of New York and all of the show’s trademark designer clothes.
Whatever the top-secret plot turns out to be, odds are if you’re a fan of the show and the first movie, you’ll love this one too. But if you’re tired of Carrie Bradshaw and her Gucci threads and Jimmy Choo shoes, you’ll probably want to pass.
“Sex and the City 2” hits theaters May 28.

The trailer doesn’t give anything away. I wonder what the movie is about. I loved the first movie and the music that went along with it. It didn’t disappoint!
