“Splice” is a science fiction movie starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley about two scientists who achieve fame by splicing human DNA with the DNA of different animals to create a new creature.
Here is a description of the movie’s plot that I found: “The scientists name their creature ‘Dren.’ Initially a deformed female infant, ‘Dren’ rapidly develops into a beautiful, but deadly, winged human-chimera.”
However, if the creature in this clip is the “deformed female infant” in question, I am thinking that it looks more like an uncooked turkey mixed with a live rabbit, with a little bit of dinosaur thrown in.
Directed by Vincenzo Natali, “Splice” has an erratic release schedule. Click here to find when and where “Splice” is schedule to open in the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Finland. Release dates for other countries could not be determined at this time.
