When someone mentions the movie “The Hangover” to you, what do you think? Well, I think that is was by far the No. 1 comedy of the year and hopefully the DVD won’t disappoint on the extras it should have.
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham and Justin Bartha were able to have such great chemistry together and made a potentially boring and played-out plot into something much more. Bartha as Doug played the soon-to-be-married bachelor and, in hopes of one great last night out, Doug and his friends took to the road and went to the one and only Vegas in search of that night they won’t remember and boy did they get it. Although the night doesn’t quite turn out the way Doug would like, he does end up with a pretty awesome tan and the other three just end up with some awesome times that they won’t remember, that is until before the final credits roll and they show my favorite part of the film which was the pictures.
Now, for whoever missed their chance to see this in theaters, it is coming to DVD on Dec. 7 and with it comes some fantastic extras. Here are two videos, the first one being a deleted scene that takes place when Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) comes to talk terms about getting Doug back. It isn’t all that funny and you can see why it was cut, but nonetheless it is still fun to watch. The second video shows a little behind the scenes and also everything that made this movie funny, so if you’re one of those people who didn’t see the film, you might want to skip this one so it doesn’t ruin some of the surprises.
There are talks about a sequel with the main cast returning, but different scenery this time around with them not wanting to redo the whole Vegas thing. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section about where they should go next or if you think they should just leave it alone and not do a sequel.
