A First Look at ‘Changing Hands’

— by ROBERT DeFEIS —

“Changing Hands” is directed by Scott L. Schwartz, who is making his directorial debut.

Schwartz has more than 70 acting credits on his resume, so he is no newcomer to film, and all of his work on the set seems to have helped him as a director.

This film follows the story of a gun and the path it takes on its trip through all the different hands it touches along the way. You’ll see robberies and assaults and many things in between.

The movie states: “Sometimes the origin of a gun is a dubious journey.” I have to agree with that and it is a story that should be told.

This film tells the tale of fate and sometimes that tale won’t be good. In the trailer, it definitely looks to have been told in a unique and sometimes dark way.

If you are at all intrigued by indie films, the makers of “Changing Hands” have on their web site (changinghandsfilm.com) a cool look at what goes on behind-the-scenes.

“Changing Hands” — which stars Kevin Sorbo, Antonio Fargas, Erika Eleniak, Eddie Jemison, Tony Longo and Kaylee Beth Dodson — is nearing the end of photography and entering post production.

Love any of Carman Licciardello’s films. He’s the man!
