“Uncertainty” has an interesting premise, but not exactly an original one.
The plot is as follows: A young couple, in love and facing a life-changing decision, find one seemingly ordinary July 4 cleaved in two by the flip of a coin on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Basically, the day’s events play out differently based on how the coin lands. The plot is not that far removed from that of “Run Lola Run,” “Sliding Doors” or countless other movies. However, if done well, it can make for an interesting movie.
The leads are played by Lynn Collins and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, with other roles portrayed by Assumpta Serna, Olivia Thirlby, Nelson Landrieu, Manoel Felciano, Jenn Colella, Marin Gazzaniga, Gianna Luca and Sofia Luca.
Written and directed by Scott McGehee and David Siegal, “Uncertainty” is slated to be released in a limited number of theaters on Nov. 13. It also will be made available to cable viewers via Video-On-Demand on that date.
In the first clip, Kate (Collins) is worried that people can tell she is pregnant, but Bobby (Gordon-Levitt) assures her that no one can tell.
In the second clip, Bobby gets a call from a man who wants his phone back, but Bobby refuses.

I have liked Lynn Collins since I saw her in “Numb” and I generally like these kinds of movies. Count me in.
I do the like the actors, but this movie (or something like it) has been nearly done to death.
I will probably see this.
anyone know where one can watch/download/stream this movie? i’ve looked everywhere.
