I don’t know if rebooting “Total Recall” — the Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi flick from 1990 — is a great idea. I do, however, know that hiring Bryan Cranston to act in anything you are doing is an excellent idea.
In the newest incarnation of “Total Recall,” Colin Farrell is starring in the lead for director Len Wiseman. The script is by Kurt Wimmer (and based on a Philip K. Dick short story). And according to Variety, Cranston is in negotiations to play the villain role in the reboot.
Cranston three Emmys for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series for “Breaking Bad” on AMC, a show that has been on for only three seasons. Yep, Cranston’s three-for-three in his role as Walter White. A very deserving three-for-three. If you haven’t seen “Breaking Bad” yet, check it out. Not only will you discover why Cranston’s winning awards right and left, you will also see why he’s a great choice to play a villain.

He would make a fine choice for Lex Luthor as well.
