We are only nine days away from my most anticipated superhero movie of the summer: “Green Lantern.” During the last couple of months, lots of extras and previews have been released — but do you feel like you need more?
If you do, take a look at these eight clips from the movie, which are seriously the last that I can handle because the fanboy within me is about to geek out.
And from the reports of the screenings of “Green Lantern” — which have been gaining positive responses so far — it looks like this hero has a chance to be added to the list of WB/DC’s list of successful movies.
One thing you should know before watching these amazing clips — some of them contains spoilers and we’re talking about HUGE spoilers that might ruin it for some of you out there. You know the drill.
So what can I say? I give the movie an early thumb up for the cast, the story, the incredible visual effects/CGI and basically everything else. I can imagine how good it will do at the box office, which will basically green-light the franchise for future sequels.
Martin Campbell’s “Green Lantern” — starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett, Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Clarke Duncan, Geoffrey Rush and Temuera Morrison — premieres June 17 in 3D and 2D theaters.
Is the wait killing you? Then maybe DC Comics latest animated film which is now available on blu-ray and DVD — “Green Lantern: Emerald Knights” — will give you something to chew on until next week.

I was super skeptical at first but am slowly anticipating this movie the more footage I see.
