“Fantastic Mr. Fox” is turning out to be a film that both adults and children will love, with Rolling Stone even calling it a film that “deserves to be called groundbreaking.”
Wes Anderson, the director of films such as “The Royal Tenenbaums” and “Bottle Rocket,” is behind this latest children’s book to film adaption. George Clooney, who also starred in last week’s “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” voices Mr. Fox. Other cast members include Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman and Owen Wilson. Wes Anderson, besides directing, also lends his voice for the role as Weasel.
The following featurettes offer a sneak-peek at the complex process of making a stop-motion animation film like “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” Hopefully, this hard work will not be in vain when the film is released in theaters on Nov. 13.
Is Wes Anderson’s newest motion picture this year’s “Wall-E”? Post your opinions in the comments section.
