Harrison Ford is at it again, with talk of killing off one of his iconic characters. This is not new for him; he has thrown his fans into a panic before when we were all nervous about Indiana Jones’ fate in the last movie. Prior to that one, he mentioned in various interviews how he thought it would be interesting to kill off the archeological adventurer.
Now, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he’s doing it all over again.
-
“I always want my characters to die,” he said, “I thought Han Solo should have died at the end of the last Star Wars movie, just because it seemed right for the character. And I’d be happy to make another Indiana Jones movie.”
Personally, I do not like this kind of an end for my lifelong hero. Indiana Jones should actually go out with a bang in the ext movie — if it happens — and somehow stay immortalized in our memories forever.
What do you think? Is it a good idea to kill of such beloved characters?

The problem is if Indy dies in a weak movie. Would that tarnish the franchise?
I doubt that would happen. Also wasn’t this talked about or rumored a yr ago or so too. Cause I seem to recall reading this same thing.
No no no! I would hate to see him die. If anything he needs to be silhouetted against a sunset putting on his hat and holding his whip. THAT’s how I want to remember him.
We’ve already seen Indiana Jones die on-screen in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
