And what a brief meeting it will be. In an irritatingly-short feature from Tim Burton’s upcoming “Alice in Wonderland,” Johnny Depp offers some insight into his character, The Mad Hatter. His insight: It’s fun to play a crazy character who wears his emotions so close to the surface. I certainly hope he doesn’t get into trouble with the studio for giving so much away.

We do get to see a few new moments that weren’t included in the trailer, so there’s that to feast on until “Alice in Wonderland” opens on March 5. Or until the release of the next super-short feature. Perhaps one of Anne Hathaway stating, “I look weird with blonde hair”?
