“New York, I Love You” is described as a collaboration of storytelling from some of today’s most imaginative film makers.
Those film makers are: Jiang Wen, Mira Nair, Shunji Iwai, Yvan Attal, Brett Ratner, Allen Hughes, Shekhar Kapur, Natalie Portman, Fatih Akin, Joshua Marston and Randy Balsmeyer (Scarlett Johansson’s segment didn’t make the final cut).
Interestingly, most of the $14 million movie’s segments are named after the segment’s directors (which certainly makes it easier to keep track of things).
And you can argue whether “New York, I Love You” is “star studded,” I suppose, but there is no debating whether the cast is filled with recognizable names.

Wow. This movie wasn’t something I had really thought about, but after seeing those clips, it’s definitely on my radar now. And, crazily enough, I think the best one was the first one – under “Brett Ratner.”
I enjoyed that. Thanks.
Very cool.
Ratner! No!!!!!
I can’t wait to see Ratner’s segment, which details his own true-life sexual encounter with a paraplegic girl suspended from a tree. Yes.
If that doesn’t sell tickets, I don’t know what does.
Some nice clips here.
Color me interested.
