The production of next year’s biggest and most-anticipated movie, “The Dark Knight Rises” has begun production in Pittsburgh and, of course, as usual there are people that are able to capture photos and footage of the shooting. The pictures show what is probably the most interesting thing I have seen since the production of this movie began — Tom Hardy in his Bane disguise.
Take a look at what Christopher Nolan’s version Bane looks like:
Bane’s new look does fit in perfectly in Nolan-verse; more realistic than the wrestler outfit he has in the comic, and I totally dig it. I’m pretty sure that this is just a disguise for now and not the final Bane “costume” we’ll see in the movie. As you can see, he’s standing on something that was supposedly destroyed in “The Dark Knight” — it’s the tumbler and this time, it’s back without the black color and is instead in the military shape it was in “Batman Begins.”
Could Bane’s military-ish look and the tumbler have some sort of connection? Only time will tell. The only question that remains Bane’s look is of course the mask and whether it will be related to Venom or not.
But there is more – if you are familiar with “Knightfall” (a very popular and huge storyline between Bane and Batman), then this scene should probably ring a bell and I warn you, this clip features a possibly huge scene that will play a major role in the story:
Looks like the Bane we see in Nolan’s version will be causing the same problems he did in “Knightfall” and Nolan couldn’t have chosen a better story to take inspiration from for his final Batman story.
But it doesn’t stop there, now take a good look at a second clip that I also warn you, it contains major spoilers:
This is just before they actually start shooting the scene, if you want to see what’s going in the actual scene, visit the user that got the photos and footage of the production, Subaruwxfan, and check out more of the things he was able to take.
The best with this scene – this is only one of probably many fighting scenes between the caped crusader and his formidable opponent ever and if I know Nolan right, it’s going to get bigger and bigger. Let’s hope now that the next thing that will be revealed is Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.
“The Dark Knight Rises” — starring Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard – is scheduled for a July 20, 2012, release. What do you think of Hardy’s Bane realistic look? Does the major scenes, raise your expectations for Nolan’s final Batman Story? Let me know by hitting with your comments to the right.
