I think these posters perfectly sum up what a Tim Burton version of “Alice in Wonderland” should be. They are bizarre, but you can’t quite take your eyes off them.
And that’s basically what I am expecting from the movie, which is due to hit theaters March 5.
What I was not expecting however, was the MPAA’s rationale for giving the movie a PG rating (even though I actually expected a PG-13 for this one).
According to the MPAA, “Alice in Wonderland gets rated PG for (and I quote): “fantasy action/violence involving scary images and situations, and for a smoking caterpillar.”
Yes, the little blue fellow above and to the right is partially to blame for the movie getting a PG rating.
